^Aw that's awesome!
OMG last night was incredible!
We got there at 11:30am and still didn't get a barrier  but we did get a clear view on the balcony and tbh. I didn't really wanna be down there; they went CRAZY!
MSI's set was hilarious we said a prayer to Britney Spears and Jimmy started singing 'single ladies' by Beyonce in the middle of a song.
Oh and also, in the queue these little like, 8 year old chavs came up trying to start a fight and shouting at us, so people shouted back, and when loads of people from the line walked towards them they ran away.
Anyway, Jimmy heard about this and called them gypsies etc. and when someone threw a fake leg on stage he was like "Is this all that's left of the gypsies? YOU ANIMALS"
I met Kitty and Steve but couldn't get to Jimmy to get something signed. And Steve called my friend "the politest Sarah, with an H"
ps. Dir En Grey was quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever witnessed in my life. Well, the singer was.
And Katie P walked past me lol

Posts: 2065 | January 31st, 2009 at 09:24am Bah was anyone at the Brixton gig last night? It was CANCELLED!! Something about a powercut :/
We queued in the cold for an hour and a half, waited in the venue for TWO HOURS all to be told it was cancelled. All the bands came on stage though and Jimmy and Steve sung an accapella(?) version of Shut Me Up which was quite cool.
I felt so bad for MSI though cause everyone started booing them and throwing shit on the stage which is unfair because it's not the band's fault. Jimmy looked so bummed out man.
BUT HE CAME OUT! And he's just such a nice guy. He used my eyeliner ^_^ I will cherish it forever! I reckon a hug, a picture, an autograph and meeting an awesome dude was worth the cancellation.
Anyone else there last night? |

but it's sweet they at least came on, and incredibly annoying that they got stuff thrown at them, oh man, i'm angry just reading it, lawl.
if they didn't like them, they knew where to go. after all, they were on last. they should have just left. D:<

Just incase anyone's interested, they posted this blog about the cancelled Brixton gig:
To all of our fans in London: We are incredibly sad and disappointed that last night's show at Brixton Academy was canceled. In case you were unclear, it was due to a failure of the London electrical grid. In any case, the show will be rescheduled at a later date, and both Mindless Self Indulgence and Dir en grey apologize to all of our fans for this unavoidable inconvenience. We know that many of you traveled very, very far to see us perform in London and stood in the cold for hours to get a good spot at the front of the stage. All of the members of Mindless Self Indulgence and Dir en grey were very much looking forward to this show for months and are were extremely gutted not to be able to perform for our fans. Despite our best efforts, at the end of the day it was beyond our control. Our management is already working out details to bring us back to London as soon as possible to make up for this unfortunate occurrence.
