It worked with the Foos, hopefully it will with MCR, too. My friend is the one who started that petition, we're thinking getting the radio stations involved too might help.

I'm trying my hardest to go except I only have one friend who is into the whole rock music thing and no one's really into MCR. It sucks so much.
Does anyone have experience with the ticket balloting? what are the chances?

Thats like 20 times the amount of tickets for Sydney BDO all together.
If there was that many people who wanted to go, there would either be 2 Sydney BDO's, or they would find a much bigger venue. |

I'd say at least a thousand...
We need to promote the petition as much as possible.
If they want to fill a venue like the Thebby (which can apparently hold 3000), then you need as many signatures up to that.
A really good idea is to try and get Nova involved, and possibly Midwest Trader, Big Star, JB Hi-Fi, etc.
I'm checking it all out now, as in preparing to send e-mails and stuff.
I really want it to work. |

But yeah, anything as simple as posting the link in bulletins on MySpace or in LiveJournal and asking your friends to repost. I've even had friends who aren't MCR fans sign it and repost. They need to be the voice for all the fans who would sign it in an instant but will never know about it. |

-Posted an extremely threatening Myspace bulletin.
-Emailed Midwest Trader (a shop)
-Made a thread about the petition in the Other Websites section
And what I'm planning to do:
-Email Nova (yes, the radio station)
-Take in some petition forms to Midwest, JB Hi-Fi, Big Star, The Muses etc. tomorrow
And all for My Chemical Romance.
