Asha;:
I really doubt there would be a million people trying to get them.
Thats like 20 times the amount of tickets for Sydney BDO all together.
If there was that many people who wanted to go, there would either be 2 Sydney BDO's, or they would find a much bigger venue.

Where is a bigger venue than olympic stadium (Or whatever it's called.)? I always thought that was the biggest.

They can't have 2 BDO's, due to the other bands holding their own concerts. I really doubt the promoters thought it would sell out that fast.

And there would be at least 1 million people. There are a lot of people in NSW. And there are a lot of Tool fans. Think about it, every single Tool fan that missed out on tickets to their show will want to see them at the BDO. And people wouldn't only go for Tool. People would be willing to travel from all over the state just go to to this festival. Hell, even if MCR and Tool weren't playing, I'd still go, just for the awesome atmosphere at the BDO.

Our Avenged Jules:
So, this is what I've done so far:
-Posted an extremely threatening Myspace bulletin.
-Emailed Midwest Trader (a shop)
-Made a thread about the petition in the Other Websites section

And what I'm planning to do:
-Email Nova (yes, the radio station)
-Take in some petition forms to Midwest, JB Hi-Fi, Big Star, The Muses etc. tomorrow

And all for My Chemical Romance.
=]

I would also suggest printing it out, and putting it in shops. Then you could go and collect them say, in two weeks, and scan them into the computer and send them along with the other petitions.

I don't know, I wasn't actually thinking about it that much.
They could have 2 BDO's
There is plenty of time, bands can only do sideshows if they get approved by the BDO organisers.

There is 20 million people in Australia, I highly doubt that there would be 1 20th of the population vying (however you spell that word) for 10 000 tickets, expecially when there is still other BDO's that have plenty of tickets left.

I've been wondering about the supports ever since getting the tickets; all it says is 'plus special guests'.

Regarding the petition, Nikki (the one who started it) messaged me on MySpace last night to let me know someone has emailed her who'd found MCR's manager's email, so she's sending it through in the hopes he'll see it.

The concert, definitely.
It's not everyday that MCR comes to Australia.
They don't live here.
Queensland does.

Lmao, Queensland lives here, love it.

But I agree. It's almost been 12 months since MCR were here last, who knows when our next opportunity will be after January. Queensland will always be there. Queensland will still be there when you're old and retired and way too old for moshing at concerts. There's always time for Queensland.

Since The Hot Lies supported last year I don't think they will again, but I can't really think of anyone whose suited to MCR.

The Butterfly Effect would be effing awesome, I <3 them so much but they just aren't the same type of music....
