Quinn.:
simple plan is like 10000000000 times better live. their interaction with the crowd is awesome...and they sound better too.

anyways...they better hurry up with the 3rd record. anyone have any idea what its gonna be like??

In a magazine article Jeff said its going to be a mix of the 2nd and 3rd album and theres going to be a few more slower songs.

On SP.com Chuck said they might throw in some hip hop which honestly I hope is not true. Theyre working with Bob Rock again so its bound to be awesome.

And I agree SP are an amazing band live.

yeah, live they're amazing, they have an awesome stage presence.
i confess i used to be obsessed with SP. i joined an SP forum, where i met 5 of my best onlinefriends [as sad as that sounds...!] but three of us talk pretty much every day. the other three live in america/canada so the timezones are pretty crap for wanting to talk to them.
ANYWAY back to simple plan, i really did love them for ages and ages, but after a while, i just moved on, and while i dont dislike them, i dont love them anymore.

haha. sad having online friends?
lmfao
then I'm sader then anyone xD

anhoo. SP.
I never obsessed over them really.
I saw a concert with them (and some other bands/artists I will not mention) Embarassedand I fell in love with the stage prescence. I started lisening a bit more to them and went to see them again. since then I've just been waiting for them to return.
I don't nessicarily listen to their music a lot.But that doens't mean I don't like it. there's something about the simplicity of it all that speaks to me.

lol Thats not sad at all. I met my best friend (who is also my band mate) on a SP forum. And many other really good friends who are (now days) practially family.

I owe SP a lot. If it wasnt for them I wouldnt have gotten into MCR. Pretty sure I'll always be a fan of them.

It's a pretty interesting blueprint they have. But it get's a bit tedious after half an album.

And the lyrics... I just... bah, there are hundred ways to describe frustration, and they choose the most clicheed and mainstream way to do it.

Good band, nonethless.

I went through a big Simple Plan faze
I'm still obsessed with David Desrosiers lol
I think I kind of grew out of them though, Im not sure why
I have seen them live twice though and it was great! they are great at interacting with the crowd!! I was a metre away from David Desrosiers...*sigh*

But that's the thing, them and Green Day were the first show I saw so I owe them a lot, even though Im a little passed Simple Plan they got me into the whole music thing

I used to love them.. but now I don't know. I'm getting tierd for their songs, they haven't realeased an album since 2004.. and listen to the same songs for 2 years.. is kinda boring. I'll have to wait until their new album comes out. I hope I still like them a bit anyways :]
