And then there's this guy who likes her and tells her to stand up for herself. The lyric "Stand up fucking tall. Don't let them see your back" is the source.
The guy is also asking the girl to come with him and together they will fight the persons who are trying to bring them down. |

This is Gerard saying to the female, "I'll help you through that" but in the end he just continues to fight with her.... i dunno. |

I think this means that they could stand uup to the bullies or the people who abused them, and dignifiy themselves, even though they know they could end up dead.[metaphorically]

I think this is telling his friend to not let what they say get to them, that once they stick together they'll be okay.. I think the last line means that they are going to fight the bully, and try to stop it.

I think this means they think that they wont live too long, they wont stay there for everyone to see, so they might as well fight the bullies.

I think that means the bullies.. his friend thinking everything they said was true and feeling like crap

Possibly my favourite quote ever, I think this means that because of the bullying, these kids are already dead inside, so even after they've fought these bullies and are still alive [maybe a feeling of immortality that the bullies didn't kill them] they have no life to live becuase the bullies took it away.
Towards cemetary gates said: "I don't understand how the title is related to the lyrics & the meaning."
The song was originally called 'Bring More Knives' but they changed it to Our Lady Of Sorrows- I think, because Gerard is signing to a girl, I think and the title refers to her, because she seems so full of grief and sorrow.
