Sure it may have shot them into mainstream *and* attract a truckload of teenies, but look -- they managed to be interesting and edgy thru all that fame. it didnt disillusion them or made them think they had to be a certain way to live up to expectations. they did what they felt was best for their own creatove growth, and the fans lapped it up.
besides, who can forget their iconic style?? red eyshadow & ties & fun with guns? yummy! |
