I like this idea though.
But maybe it could fit into the Media forum idea that others have proposed in the past.
It'd be great to have a separate space for all of that. |

I think it would be a good idea as there's a lot of clogging up in the INO chamber just recently with different TV shows and books.

I think it would come in handy in the personal question forum, for example. In case people have friends who know their screen name and they'd rather their friends not read about what they're saying. I know that doesn't stop them from signing up but it certainly makes it more private. |

^^This is an interesting idea, but don't we already have a bunch of contests (e.g: best writer, best avatar, best username, etc...)?
And, about the promotion thing, are you talking about promoting bands or products?
I think promoting products is a good idea.
Like, if someone makes shirts or purses or other things, they could advertise/promote/take orders in the forum.
I've seen the people on MCRmy.com do that.
They have a lot of creative ideas for merch and lots of people interested in buying it. |
