There was something about those beginning notes I couldn't stand, but now it's one of my favorites. It probably didn't help that the first time I heard it I wasn't really into MCR yet.
On TBP, I had trouble with "The End", “This Is How I Disappear”, "Sleep" and "Blood". I'm now addicted to all of them except for "This is How I Disappear". |

Posts: 9 | May 22nd, 2007 at 07:00pm Most songs in general have to grow on me before I like them, but MCR is unique in that they have a lot of songs that I instantly loved ("I'm Not Okay", "Helena", "Famous Last Words", "Dead!", and "House of Wolves", for example).
From Bullets, all the songs had to grow on me except "Drowning Lessons" and "Our Lady of Sorrows".
From Three Cheers, "I Never Told You What I Do For a Living" took a long time to make an impression on me, but now it's probably my favorite MCR song. On the Black Parade, "Disenchanted" was a song that I didn't dislike, but it took a while for me to like it. Now, it's one of my favorites on the album. And I didn't like "Heaven Help Us" at first, but now I adore it. |
