Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 60 | April 12th, 2007 at 01:49pm I'm gonna get lessons- my mum keeps saying "Yeah, that's great!" and I'm like, "Is that yes or no?!!?!?". I did have a period of time where that was what I did every music lesson (1 a week for...5 weeks) and I loved it. I was okay, not awful but not great. It's harder than you (or rather, I) first thought! |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 18584 | April 14th, 2007 at 10:56pm ^ ^ ^. That's what I've done too. But then again, my drum instructor would always help me out.
I still use tabs.
I've been playing for three or four years. CB set. Two toms, floor, bass, snare, hihat & crash cymbal.
Yeah, I don't have a ride. It sucks.
& Vic Firth sticks. I still use the same pair since I started.
I always get really shy when friends watch me play.
If I'm in a good mood, and the person can't watch me play, but can still hear me, I'm alright.
But if someone tells me to play, I sit down, go to play, tab the snare once, and get back up.
Any advice? |

I want to play set... but then I have to buy one, haul it up the stairs to my room, and soundproof the house. Uhhhh. lol.
Ehhh I'll get one eventually. It looks like so much fun and I miss beating the crap out of those poor snare drums. |

I'm fairly good. I can play stuff like As I Lay Dying and I'm working on People=Shit, halfway there like.
Cavalier Eternal. - Suck it up and play for them. Focus on your drumming and not that anyones watching, stare at a wall or just totally focus on your drums. [= |
