Yeah, will we be allowed to take cameras?
And is there an age limit on the tickets?
Like you can't go into the concert if your under 16 without an adult? |

Depends on the venue:
Sheffield - Under 14s are not permitted to enter the arena standing area and must be in possession of a reserved seat ticket.
Newcastle say under 14s must be accompanied by an adult (although Gigs and Tours say this only applies to standing and must have a seat ticket)
O2 arena is no under 16s in the standing area (again, according to Gigs and Tours)
Does that help? |

Also... my mum just told me over the phone that in the Daily Mail it says that MCR are being supported by The Used from the 11th - 15th November. I really highly doubt it... i was just wondering if anyone else had heard anything?
yeh I read that, but i'd be pretty surprised if its true.
i just checked the used's tour dates and they're on the taste of chaos tour in November.
11th-15th November The Used will be in Germany/Austria/Switzerland and so I highly doubt they will be supporting MCR
also in italy in 16th November for the taste of caos!!! |

I could be completely making this up here, but just after I ordered my tickets I think I read something on the O2 website saying that camera's and other recording equipment are 'prohibited'. I'd go double check but I'm not sure how I got to that page... Personally that won't stop me though. I am bringing my camera! With spare batteries!
Hm. I also found this :
The O2 will not permit any action that may be perceived as intimidating – these include:
- Gathering in large groups
- Loitering in Entertainment Avenue, Peninsula Square or the car parks
- Wearing motorcycle helmets or hoods
- Shouting, swearing or any other actions that could be unsettling to a member of the public
- The removal of clothing. Appropriate dress is required including within any tenant space. <- Damn. There goes my dreams of running around naked.. o.O;;
And if we try and meet up by their tour bus or something, are the first two on that list gonna give us trouble?
Although surely there's gonna be so many people waiting around they wouldn't be able to do much about it, so maybe they wouldn't really enforce those 'rules' at gigs 'coz it'd be expected anyway. ? |

I found that page I read it on!
"The use of unauthorised cameras, video or sound recording equipment (including without limitation, mobile phones or other devices used for such purpose), is prohibited and such items may be confiscated."
As for your other question :
"All children must have a ticket. Under 14s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Standing areas are not suitable for those under 16. The management reserves the right to remove any child from the standing area for safety reasons. " |

Age: 50 Gender: Female Posts: 711 | August 5th, 2007 at 11:41am Ok I went to see Prince at the O2 yesterday.
1. They just did a basic bag search, didn't ask about cameras and did no body pat downs.
2. The food is bloody lovely!
3. I've no idea where they'd have people lining up. There are a load or bars etc around the arena itself and I don't imagine they'll take too kindly to MCR fans queing and blocking the way so I expect everyone will have to queue outside the dome itself.
4. Couldn't fathom where the hell the buses would be but having said that I wasn't really looking too hard.
5. If they have the stage in the centre like Prince did I'll cry, it's total wank! |

FUCK!!!!
I'll be 13 then ... and my friend will be 14 ... ACK!
God. So it's either I replace my friend with my mother, or just don't go at all.
No ... ugh. Theres a big possibility that my friend can't go, cause her dad won't let her miss two days off of school ...
Does the adult have to have a ticket? Can't they just like ... wait outside after the gig is finished then pick us up?
Damn. |
