I'm waiting for some NY dates. They need to come somewhere within a few hours drive of where I live, and then my mom will take me over the border to go see them. :] Or I'll go to the Detroit one, because I just realized Detroit is only a few hours away from where I live. Definately thought it was like 5 hours of driving. xD My heart goes out to anybody who's not going to get to see them because they're not coming close enough to your city.
People in the UK, I know you guys want them back (once you see My Chem you just want to see them again), but you JUST had them, and they've done a fair few England / UK tours in the past year. We in the US / Canada haven't seen them since PR this summer, and that wasn't even their tour. They're also from the US, so it's fitting that they end it all at home. |

But for someone in the middle of the US, both of those might as well have been on the moon for all that they are able to go. I certainly couldn't go and I'm more of a comic fan than anything else.
As it stands, to see the guys on this tour, I'm going to have to fly from Florida to Chicago. I'm just lucky I have family in the Midwest, otherwise I'd have to swing a California show, since that's the next closest place that I have friends I could crash with, and that would cost several hundred dollars more in travel than going to Chicago and is 3 time zones away. And even now, I'm looking at a 3 hour drive from where I'll be staying to the venue for the show. But I know that it will absolutely be worth it, so I'm happy to do it.
Believe me, they are leaving out more of the US than they are able to go to, but they're doing their best and I appreciate that. Besides, that's what sick days are for!  |
