dean winchester.: the crowd was really, really mild compared to what I've been in. I expected it to be a lot harsher. but, they were one of the first bands to play, so it could have been that there weren't a lot of people.
it got pretty pushy when shawn jumped in though. ahaha. everyone wanted to touch him.
they were really amazing though. shawn made us slow dance with the person next to us [or tried to], and he made us do lots of pelvic thrusts during papercut skin. their set was pretty short though, which was disappointing. I think they only played like, five or six songs.
Ah, it sounds so amazing =]
I'm so fucking hyped.
One week to go!

Do the people get all pushy and harsh?
It's probably going to be the most fun at a show you'll ever have.
It's so easy to feed off of their energy and for them to feed off of you, which is why they're my favorite live band.
I'm usually not the person to like jump and go crazy and throw my hands in the air at shows and this is when I'm with friends and stuff, but the last show of theirs I went to I got pushed and shoved and whatnot in the pit (yeah the pit CAN get a little rough, but it's honestly not even that crazy) and I got separated from my friend. I was standing by myself but I was still rocking the fuck out and doing things I normally don't do because they just give you so much energy and you just don't care anymore and you want to feel the music.
It sounds dumb, but it's how it is, man. |

Posts: 8968 | February 16th, 2008 at 10:00pm I go the most insane at Matches shows; afterwards when I'm stumbling around looking for somewhere to buy a soda or use the bathroom or something else equally mundane, someone (WITHOUT FAIL) will always walk up to me and say "hey! I saw you in the pit" and I'll be all "o____o oh you did?"
God they're great. I envy you that you get to see them so soon - I have, er, 37 days to go. |

Fuuuck their set at the festival I'm going to is only half an hour long.

shawn harris.:a band in hope is... wonderful. i've listened to it constantly for the past five/six days and i feel the songs already becoming the back of my hand, but they're not worn or boring.
Me too. That's the one thing I've noticed with them.
I can listen to them non-stop for hours/days/whatever (which I do)
and their albums never get boring. They just don't.
Anywho, as for A Band In Hope, I really love it. It has some really beautiful
and interesting songs on it.

It is out on newstands March 3rd.
This is one of four covers featuring all the bands
on the AP tour, so if you want this, you may have to scout a bit.
Also, this is an American magazine, so if you live elsewhere
you may have to go on a wild goose chase.
