I always think it's better when peopl support their own country and hometown team cause it's just a better feeling I suppose when they win.
I will buy the new England shirt.
It's the shirt from '66 isn't it not? |

I have a small suspicion (sp?) that either Italy or Portugal are going to win the cup... or maybe even Spain, Germany or France. But I'd rather hope not. xD
I can't wait till it starts actually, because I love to watch those games. |

Exactly.
That is why I don't support my home team.
If anything, I support Morecambe,
they're doing well in League Two after being promoted last year,
they're 10th atm.

I won't support them though, cos if I should support a dutch team, I'd support PSV. |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 20910 | February 29th, 2008 at 11:52am My home town is so tiny that it doesn't have a proper team, but I was born in Ipswich so I should technically support Ipswich Town. However, the first football match I ever watched on TV was a Man United match, and if anyone ever asked me who I supported I'd just say I supported them, because they were the only team I'd ever watched. And it stuck, and I got so into United/football in general that by 2003 it was basically all I lived for. Actually going to Old Trafford for the first time and watching a match was amazing. |
