warped tour is an organizational nightmare, but somehow they do it everyday and it works more or less like an well oiled machine
it's just as safe as any other concert
yeah, there's a few weirdos here or there, but no more than any other place |

my ticket and CD came together, and i was a bit thrown off too, 'cause when you get it in stores, it's a plastic case.

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 14696 | July 26th, 2008 at 03:39pm Find out when they're playing, and wait in the back of that crowd of the act before them. And between the interval of that present band and Cobra playing, rush up to the front! That works for me. xDD
Does that make sense? |

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 10541 | July 26th, 2008 at 08:37pm try and be near the front of the crowd during the band before them
people will leave and you can have their spots
but barricade is sometimes established hours ahead of time |

Age: 29 Gender: Male Posts: 426 | July 26th, 2008 at 10:14pm Omg, that was fucking awesome.
Especially the ending. Bring Me The Horizon and Katy Perry happened to be both right next to each other, stagewise, and time wise. I'm one of the few who's an avid fan of both.
So okay, BMTH was brutal, and I tried moshing and crowd surfng for the first time. And everyone looked pissed at me, because I was doing the cha-cha in the pit. So then I strated flailing my arms, and then they stopped noticing me.
Then right after BMTH, I ran over to Katy Perry
I was practically the only one there who actually listened to any other song besides "I Kissed A Girl", and plus I was in the mood, so I was screaming along to it like Oli Sykes. And then, we started a mosh pit during "Ur So Gay", and this one 12 year girl got really pissed at me when I ran into her when I was making the pit. :/
But all and all it was good, I got a FFTL and Alesana shirt, and got them both signed by the bands. |
