Show Me Your Wrists
Let me see your wrists is usually how I'm greeted
I tend say get lost and then I leave them
I try and choke back tears at every meaningless word
like the rumors that i wish I'd never heard
they seem to not care what goes on inside my head
they just seem to care what each other said
no one understands because it is hard to explain
how much they lead on the misery and pain
when it comes time
I go to my sanctuary
I hide out Myself
until i hear the sound and start it again |

when i was younger
i used to never want to die
i swore that if i did i would definitly cry
i would try and make not come true
me with my eyes closed
looking up at you
i would be in my
pretty blue dress
in what would forever be my bed
you would be standing above me
wishing you never said
what you thought was comfort
that only brought more pain
now that i
have gotten older
i think of it as relief
because death is just
a never ending cry
to let out all the grief
Crying:
is just my way
of knowing that all has passed and gone
make all the emotions bottled in one
come out in one big sob
making them fall to the ground
death is just crying
and leaving you with one last pound |

Concrete lie beneath me,
at least two hundred feet away.
I see it getting closer.
I see people looking up at me,
wondering why?
I try and explain but it is to late.
People are watching at me on my concrete deathbed,
now i am watching too. |

tears roll down my face
burning gashes on my skin
i try and stop but i can't
i can't figure out why it hurts
after all of the thoughts
that brought me to more tears
i touch my eyes with my trembling hands
the tears that i have been crying for to long are made of blood
the red tears are now dripping off of my face
i try and stop but i can't
i don't know what to do so i try and clean it off
i end up painting the whole house red
now i am lying soaked in my bed
i try and stop but i can't |

my fingers are scraping aginst the cold thin ice. glass.
my and hands are now shaking in fear.
as i scream for help, no one can hear because a slit in my throat stops me.
i try and run. but i can't.
the whispers are getting louder.
they are the only things i can hear.
they are now screaming at me.
and i die in fear. |

as the illness burned through the skin of your delagate lungs, i thought you you would be able to fight it like you had many times before.
it must have been painful with all the medication, being trappped in a dark grey hospus room.
every time i think of your face
i am filled with sorry and regret
because i never really took the time to go and see the aged ill man in roon 133 |

The girls by whom i am surrounded act the same every day.
Fake.
Their thoughts and feelings not ignored
beacuse no one can see past the big black clouds
that surround each and every one of them.
When the others have no other way to get out,
it is just what the fakes wanted,
they have to breath in,
and add to the crowd. |

As she stands there
with a Razor and a Flame
with single slice she could end the game
she has only been playing
for about fifteen years
how could she ever think this could be the answer.
Now she is trembling with scrambling thoughts
of what to do with her final breath
then she thinks again is this the only answer.
Death?
She holds up the flame
as if trying to tame
the light from burning her
she holds up the razor
wishing some one would save her
from this awful fate.
She softly puts the weapons
on her dead white sheets
the only thing she thinks of is
how could he ever cheat.
She lay down next to the blade
and quickly grab it near
she slides it fast across her wrist
and screams out in pain.
She feels the liquid
slide slowly down her arm
she sees the darkness come
with one big flash
then she feels herself
Crash.
She wakes up
to what she thought was real
it was actually a dream that made her feel
like everything was great
that is when she figured out her fate. |

The rhyme scheme was very unique which made the poem so special and it had such emotion in it that it was like I could picture the girl trembling and picture every action perfectly. I loved the topic because it's a very important issue and you have some serious writing skills! ^_^ |

Falling from the outside
Steamed windows is what they pass
Though their view is blocked
By rarely fogged glass.
Scars and burns,
The paint job.
Soft and loved,
Stains the interior.
Glossed over, with liquid
Iris speaks for us all.
Nothing but a painting,
On a fairly blank wall.
A book cover, strong yet it can be hurt
Hides all the words you read.
As the sides of a cup,
Hide what you are drinking.
Weeping and crying
Is a cover-up, for
Emotional blemishes
Do not wear the make-up
For you’ll fade the foundation, |
