Age: - Gender: - Posts: 506 | December 18th, 2005 at 01:48am I´m not an enthusiastic person, so when I like a band, I just hear the music all fukin´ day... but I don´t like wear t-shits bands, or to upholster my bedroom with posters... and all those things that my sis do... and talk all day about them... at least we like almost the same things... so isn´t annoying to me ... until she start to cry |

my whole room is covered in posters. of everything, actually.
but obession is not really healthy, i don't think.
it takes over your mind, if it gets too out of hand. you start to worry about the lives of the ppl yer obsessed with, over your own.
i've seen it happen....not a pretty site. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 117 | February 22nd, 2006 at 01:12pm I do not measure my obsession with the amount of stuff I have, but with the amount of time I spend thinking about them or looking and posting on websites and forums about them!
The last time I went thru a "phase" by being in love with a band was Nsync... now now I know your reactions. But, come on there music is fun and some have meaningful words that hit you when you are a teen or at any age for that matter (my father still likes them). I used to buy all their poster, magazines with their covers, and even a doll of one of them.
Now I still at times I enjoy their music and get lost in the nostalga. This says a 21 year old. lol
Point is with MCR I love looking at new pictures of them because their always so unique with them and I have not ever been addicted to a cd more than with Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. But, I have decided I do not want to collect the magazines or the dolls even.
I will still enjoy them though even if this "phase" does end. I am having a great time enjoying their music and sense of style. |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 6503 | April 3rd, 2006 at 02:26am Yes, I do believe that a good obsession is healthy because it gives you something that is constant....something to hope for. Something to wake up to and drift to sleep to. Your oxygen.
The thing that keeps you going till tomorrow. When you have something to look forward to and dedicate yourself to IT IS PROVEN that people are happier and have a better outlook on life. Even more so with MCR because of their message. |

I agree 100%.
I mean today, I was thinking...'Hmm, who would I die for, who do I love?' The first thing that comes to mind 'Mom', after that 'MCR'. |
