Posts: 20910 | April 3rd, 2006 at 06:52am today i feel: o.O:Yes, I do believe that a good obsession is healthy because it gives you something that is constant....something to hope for. Something to wake up to and drift to sleep to. Your oxygen.
The thing that keeps you going till tomorrow. When you have something to look forward to and dedicate yourself to IT IS PROVEN that people are happier and have a better outlook on life. Even more so with MCR because of their message. 
I agree completely too.
Like, when things are shit and I'm at my lowest, I think of them and it kinda gives me hope.
They're like a positive drug.
I had a torrid time a few weeks back and MCR pretty much got me through it because of my 'obsession' with them.
So what you said is 100% true.

If something can save you, then it's got to be a good thing.
Having an obsession with something, particularly a band like MCR that actually CAN affect people, then thats so awesome if it can help you through shit, and I don't see how people can think thats a bad thing.
They've helped me a ton too and something I wonder what I'd be like if I had never discovered them, and it freaks me out. |

Just thinking about them makes me happy and listening to their music helps me in so many ways. They make me want to be a better person.
so I guess mcr obsession is healthy because it helps you.. |

i mean my room is coveree in posters, floor is covered with 100 's ok kerrangs and metalhammers. when i see mcr on tv or a magizine i scream till i get my on way. my heart stiil jumps when i hear them. i check my ticket to there 1st irish gig over and over to make sure its still there. im 18 . is this healthy!
