Wow..that sucks.
My parents have never been like that with me and my sister.
Hell, we were brought up on action movies.
When I was 8, my favourite film was The Terminator Laughing
Seriously, we've never been hidden by any of that stuff and the music we listen to or what we watch on TV has never been an issue.

All I can say is: DON'T LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS!!

Hahah. I'm so happy my parents don't control my music or anything. Hell, my dad pays for the CDs and he paid for both copies of LOTMS

^ Haha same here!
I'd go mad if my parents controlled me. Not that I would listen, but still, it would be annoying.
My mum loves most of the music I love anyway Very Happy

My mom is the same way.
She supports everything I do/watch/listen to/wear.

My dad told me he was happy I didn't wear all black and gothic-like. I looked down and realized I was wearing jeans, a coffin belt buckle, a black shirt and a black hoodie. I'm like.. uhh... Yeaaaaaaah.

Where did you get a coffin belt buckle?

Back on topic. I don't want to watch it too much and get burnt out on it.
But I just can't help myself, I love it so much.

The first time I watched it was like at 2:30 in the morn..because I got it like after 10:00 pm and then I had to go to bed like right when we got home. I was mad because I finally had it and I couldn't watch it. So, I woke up around 2 am ..and watched it until the Helena video part.... But at least I watched some of it!

Haha, this is the discussion I had with my mom the day LOTMS came out:

*rushes to the phone and inserts number*

-ring ring-

mom: Hello?
me: HI MOM OMG!
mom: What?
me: I NEED MONEY!
mom: Money for what?
me: A CD/DVD!
mom: Which one? What band?
me: MY CHEMICAL RO---
mom: Oh, okay.

LOL. I couldn't even finish my sentence and she was like, ohhh, okay. I thought so. Yeah. Just had to share that. O__o But omg I'm watching it so much now that I scare my friendz.

yea i got it a while back and shit but my mom who hates MCR was all like i'm watching that with you so i had no choice but to let her so she watched it and when they were tallking bout Gerards addiction problem she got all pissed and told me i wasn't allowed to listen to them anymore cause he used to be addicted to drugs. But fortuantely i don'tlisten to her very often

That's crazy, b/c my mom is the exact opposite. She flat out told me that she didn't want to be anywhere near me when I was watching it. Probably a good thing too, b/c I might have scared her, I scared myself.

My mom thinks they're all drug-addicts, no matter what I tell her. she hasn't even seen the DVD! I could just imagine..oh no..

I was really annoyed that there was music playing in the background constantly, and that they jumped from clip to clip like the editor was on speed or something. I've seen better documentaries...

It's actually a joke. I'm not actually the only true fan that has "LOTMS" my friend bought it an hour after I did
