I don't think they do at all. I know they like guns, but I don't believe they support gun and knive violence.

I doubt they do.
They probably do just like the symbol.

Well...Gerard wrote Teenagers to stop teen violence, but I think they use guns as more of a metaphor, and to kind of establish their "you'll never get me alive, do what it takes to survive, cuz i'm still here" mentality and image, as seen in Three Cheers (even tho the quote i used is from Kill All Your Friends Very Happy ). So.......no i dont think they support gun violence Very Happy

I think not. since they always encourage hteir fans not to hurt themselves I'm sure they don't want us to go shooting each other Laughing

Me and a friend were having an agrument over this. Do you think My chemical romance supports gun violence?
Um...no...haven't you ever heard of like...imagination and like...fiction? Rolling Eyes Yeah they totally support it, sure do. Just the other day, Gerard was spotted outside of a 7-11 encouraging kids to go shoot up the cashier for shits and giggles. Come on, people, think, will you? And go google something; I'm sure you will come up with several commentaries by the band speaking out against violence, and oh, hello: "Teenagers?"

Look, I'm sorry if that sounded bitchy; I realize that a lot of people in here (including an Admin) thought that it was a very good question, but to me it's just a matter of common sense, and I'm also pre-menstrual (and it's also Sunday) so forgive my sharp tone.

No, I will admit that one line, "What you got under your shirt will make them pay for the things that they did," in Teenagers was a risky move, but no one started a riot. They do mention guns often, but I don't have any serious urges to shoot anybody, and I don't think anyone else does either.
