I have still never heard of or seen anyone that has a "rib piercing".
Although you can get surface piercings pretty much anywhere, some just don't "survive" because of the amount of friction from other body parts or clothes.

Ouch.
I'm perfectly happy with just my lobes pierced, even though my mom said she didn't care if got other piercings. |

that happened to me too, probably because I didn't take care of it and it got infected from shampoo and stuff. it healed eventually , but it took about 4 months and a lot of antiseptic cream. |

Edit- Found it. I don't know how right she is though. But maybe.

In my opinion, the piercing gun should be illegalized. It's NEVER EVER a good idea to get pierced with a piercing gun. Not even in the ears.
I have never heard of someone getting pierced in the lip with a piercing gun. Piercing guns are never used for anything other than the ears and nose. |
