I love The Beatles.
I never used to, I hated them, but my older brother went through this phase when I was 11 where he was obsessed with them.
He would listen to their records EVERY day for about 5 years.
And I am so glad he did now, otherwise I never would have relised how incredibly awsome they are.
Their songs really help me a lot, much like MCR if I listen to The Beatles everything just goes away and I'm happy.
I mean anyone who says they don't like them should really listen to them and think about how much of an imapct they have had on so many of the bands they listen to now.
And plus, Paul and Ringo are totally cute, lol.
I really hate it how John was killed and I think something happened to George aswell? But I think it really sucks because they mad so much great music and for it all to get stopped like that was a real fucking shame.
The are and always will be one of the best bands to be on this earth.
People should really respect the time and effort they put into trying to make the world a better place.

Yeah I knew something happened to him aswell.
I would have really wanted to go to a concert of theirs when they were all alive that would have been an amazing experience.

And thanks, it took me forever to find a good one and I kept changing it.

I love The Beatles so much. Their music was pretty much the best thing my mum ever gave me.

"A Hard Day's Night" and "Help!" are my favorite movies of all time.

Come Together for the win. =D
I don't know why, but I love that song so much.
I mean, pretty much any Beatles song can win my heart over when I'm in the right mood, but that one always grabs my attention.
I'm not a kooky crazy Beatles fan that will profess my undying love for the band etc., but they changed the entire music culture back then, and are still doing so today.
Any band that manages to do that deserves a cult following, and decades of endless fame and acknowledgment.

tegan: i even like the one you have now more.lol
help! is an amazing movie aswell, as are a hard days night and magical mystery tour.
at one point i could predict every line they would say in a hard days night, that was before i spoke english (i'm dutch)

this is one of my favourite perfomances by the beatles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK8j7fYHOoQ

people were screaming so loud that they couldn't hear themselves anymore, i think they're kind of high and john later on said that he 'felt naked without his guitar'.
either way, it's halarious and they sure had a blast.

i love the beatles antology, we have that dvd box at home and it pretty much contains every thing there is to know about the beatles.

this is pretty much the best interview i have ever seen:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkGRC5EL7gw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psATF1mUpUU
and that's just plain hilarious too.

okay i'm gonna stop now, i can go on forever about this.

My favorite movie from them (even thought it wasn't really them) is Yellow Submarine. I think it's so artistic and innovative.

My favorite album by them would have to be either Sgt. Pepper's or Abbey Road.
You can't leave out the White Album, though. And Magical Mystery Tour is pretty good.

I have to admit I do love my avatar atm.
I will probably keep it for a while.

My favourite movie is Help! cos so far it is the only one I have seen.
And my favourite album would have to be their greatest hits one if that is classed as aan album.
And I really don't have a favourite song, but I really like Octopuses Garden mostly cos Ringo sings it and he has an a-fucking-mazing voice.
I love it. And Help! that song is just awsome.

My favorite albums would probably have to be "Beatles For Sale" and "A Hard Day's Night soundtrack"

Ive been watching Help! quite a lot these days. Its so funny and the songs are so great. "I Need You" is my favorite right now. I love George Harrison's voice.

After The Beatles, I think his music was the one I liked the most. He's always written amazing songs.

I couldnt believe it when I heard "Across The Universe" had all those Beatles songs in it. I love how they re-did the music. I was a bit scared that they would ruin the tracks but it was a job well done. Defnitely one of the best soundtracks Ive heard in a while.

I would have to go with Ringo being my favourite after The Beatles.
I mean he has such a good voice.
It's kind of a shame he didn't sing much when he was in The Beatles.
And some of his lyrics are just amazing.
I really just can't get over how good Ringo's voice is.
And he has the cutest smile, along with Paul.
I love it in Help! [the film clip] where Ringo does that thing where hhe shakes his head and smiles, it is adorable.
And then in Help! when they are singing I need you [I think] and he is like shivering and then he smiles.
God, he coould kill me with that smile, honestly.

John and George were the best solo.
Paul was great and all, but that's just paul. None of it meant anything.
John and George were deeper than that.

i don't agree with you on that.
paul's music may have been more subtle, but there was definetely a meaning there.

personally i am not a huge fan of lennon's solo stuff.
i mean, it's great and all what he did for peace, but musically, i think mccartney was alot better than lennon.
but that's just me.

I like all of them with there solo stuff.
But I would have to go with Ringo and Paul.
You know being 'better'.
John, was amazing and his lyric and music are amazing.
And George was the same.
But my dumb head just seems to like Paul and Ringo better.
But that's just my opinion.

Aside from having favorites, I think you all can agree that each of them were amazing and brilliant in their own way. Its what made the band awesome as it is.

So how did you lot come to find The Beatles and their music?

Well, I actually hated them.
But my older brother went through a Beatles phase when I was 11.
And all he listened to was The Beatles for 4 years or whatever.
So, I kinda fell in love with them through force.
But it is awsome that I did.
They are amazing.
