Lea, who is a cool girl I work with, is really into rock, so I introduced her to MCR.
She called me at work (it was her day off, and I was working) and told me she was blasting MCR and she loved them, but- and I quote- "Gerard Way sings like he has a dick in his mouth."
OOOOOOkay.

Posts: 633 | October 13th, 2006 at 02:53am most people i mention them to hate them off the bat. the main reason is they are on mtv,and im not okay was everywhere for a long time. but i think its because people want to be unique and elitist with their musical taste...and mcr is a popular band. they just dont want to be like other people..they want to be cool, listening to obscure indie bands. its quite ridiculous..but oh well. i love them. |

But I have a lot of those "Indie" friends, who like really obscure bands and latch onto them until they gain popularity, and if someone is mainstream, then it'd be ridiculous to even bother listening to them...
which sucks, cause it means I have no one to go to concerts wtih...
