My idol is Corey Taylor. Corey is the master of the horrid vocals and lyrics in Slipknot. Before he joined the band, he worked in a porn shop to earn money (it was called "Adult Emporium"Wink. On stage he is loud, fast, and out of control. Offstage, he seems very calm and down to Earth. Before Slipknot he was part of the band Stone Sour. Corey loves Comedy albums, which he grew up on.

Mask - Used to be a leather face cover, with brown/blonde dreads. Yes, some of the dreads were made of his real hair. He used to wear them through the mask, but he cut them off because it was a pain to pull them through. Also, he was always changing his hairstyle. Now, his mask is made out of moulded latex instead of leather. Most of the dreads now seem to be fake. MEANING: "Twenty-seven, What does that mean? You'll figure it out" "Complete pain, it represents everything I fucking rally against, there is so much hate, blood, spit and puke in that fucking mask just from playing, I put it on every night and I remember why I am playing. I go from me now to the person I was when I wrote the songs."

Quote - "We aren't hiding behind these masks, we're actually revealing more to you than you might think. The mask I wear brings out all the shit inside me that I hate. Plus it hurts like hell, which helps my intensity." "If you feel like talking, you talk, if you don't, you don't" “So many people are like, 'Gimmick, gimmick, gimmick!', Fuck you! You don't know what we're about! Our motto has always been, 'Music First.' Even if the masks and the coveralls weren't there, the music would still be good."

Hayley Williams - Paramore

I think she is one of the greatest female voices in rock;
there is not much of a difference between her record tracks and her live singing.
she has geniune talent (:

Joan Jett, she didn't just open the doors for women in rock, she blew them up with C4 and a blowtorch! She is my personal music goddess.

Ashlee Simpson.
Before everyone starts firing up their opinions, let me just say this.

Yes, she lip synced. But she got sick on the day of SNL and there was no way she could cancel. But at least she has the guts to stand back up on that stage again and face what happened. She's an amazing songwriter, she's great to her fans, and she IS talented.

Also, my brother, Billy. Whenever my brother's around I always felt some sense of security. I always feel safe around him. He's not the greatest person ever, he's gotten into trouble a number of times, but he's reformed himself and he's joined the Navy. He's my hero and I love him too much for words.

Darren Cordeux- not only is he an AMAZING musician but he stands up for animal rights and everything that i believe.

Mikey Way- anyone who can go through a breakdown like that and build themselves up again deserves some sort of recognition.

Quinn Allman- fucking amazing guitarist, he's so talented and i really admire the way he lives his life so free

and, of course, my three best friends ever, Nicky, Trent and Holly. they are all so awesome and always there. ALWAYS. i love them all Smile

John Lennon.
Apart from the fact that he was in The Beatles <3 and is a fantastic musician, he stood up for the things he believed in, such as peace and bagism. He's something to look up to. Something I cry about every December the 8th. He, and the rest of The Beatles are the only things I love more than My Chemical Romance. [that, as you know, is a lot...that's an understatement]

He's an extremely talented musician, and has music in his soul.
He's overcome being blind in one eye to be a established drummer and frontman.
He's a Christian, and he isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in.
He loves and cares about his fans.
He is simply amazing. He keeps me going.
Sure, to you you he may seem like nothing.
But to me, he's everything.

And I admire her, because she had the guts to completely change her image, despite all of the bad press she was getting from the media. And in some of her songs, she does write some lyrics that can be related to and do have some emotional value.

I have to many heroes to count.
A few of them probably havn't done anything that changed the world all too much but sometimes I just see something in people that endears them to me.
It doesn't take alot for me to take someone to heart.

But here's a few, River Pheonix, Joni Mitchell and Russell Brand.

Basically, anyone who ever changed the way I see the world or live my life.
