Don't be so narrow minded. Christina Aguilera is the perfect example of a teeny bopper child star who has constantly changed her image, sound, etc. I find it to be a bit rude and a bit offensive that you don't think teeny boppers can be successful or diverse or that they are not allowed to. I would prefer Hilary to a lot of bands out there these days. If anything, there are more bands out there who try too hard than Hilary Duff. Maybe she's not the one everyone should be callng "fake" or "trying too hard." She hardly fits that criteria compared to a lot of bands.
On another note, if teeny magazines call her goth, that's their problem, not Hilary's. What they write has nothing to do with how she really is, obviously. People are so quick to throw labels at people as if they know so much better. |

Her movies are absolutely horrible. Material Girls. what was that?
Cadet Kelly: played the wholesome girl who acheives her goal in the end and everyone loves her
Agent Cody Banks: she playes the 'popular' girl who, by the end of the movie comes down to earth and dates the nerdy but cool guy.
The Lizzie McGuire Movie: she playes lizzie mcguire, and a lame attempt at an italian singer
Cinderella Story: she playes a wholseome girl just trying to get by and end up with the popular guy.
Raise Your Voice: she plays the wholsesome girl who loses her brother and goes to a music school and end up with the popular boy
The Perfect Man: she plays the wholesome girl who is trying to help her mother get by
Material Girls:...thats all im going to say.
she has no range in acting. she need to expand.
plus, she downright annoys me.

The only reason you hate is because you are jealous.
She's beautiful, talented, lucky, everything that any of
you would want to be. You have no fucking idea of
how hard she worked to get to where she is. She used
to do shows and performances in L.A; usually about 2-3
a day. That's a fucking lot. She worked from the age of
9 to get to where she is now, and look at her. She has
everything !
And, no, of course, there are still people out there who
are so fucking ignorant of the facts, obviously to blind
to see the person that worked her fucking teenage life
away by getting up at 5 in the morning, coming home to
her family at 10.
Just because she wears make-up and pretty dresses
does not provide a decent enough cover up of what
she really is.
