Posts: 3176 | March 11th, 2007 at 03:46pm the only way i've ever heard of getting backstage passes is if you're connected with someone who works at the venue or someone who's to do with mcr's management.
as for meeting them, wait behind after the show. they have to come out some time, and then just hope for the best. |

I'm going to an MCR show in May with my dad and I'm worried about how my dad's gonna react to it all. I mean, he kinda likes their music, but we all know how flamboyant Gerard can be....
I have been to an MCR show before, but not with a parent, so I dunno, has anyone ever been with a parent? How should I prepare him for it? |

He was just like.... gee he likes to drop the "F" bomb a lot... but he was cool with it. But, he hated Rise Against... =P. I think that if he likes their music, he should be okay with hearing that....

I think it depends on the place, but when I went, the shirts and merch. were being sold from the minute we got there, to when we were leaving...

i waited for a few hours after their show i went to last year and i got all of their autographs apart from bob's (  ).
it was a small crowd there, so this tour, there may be a slimmer chance of meeting them but you really just have to wait, stick it out and hope for the best. |

I would think 10:30 would be alright. There will be a few kids who think they're all hardcore waiting since 5:00 am, or something, but I'd think 10:30 would be perfect. And, if you aren't RIGHT up against the barrier, you'll be pretty damn close. |
