Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 537 | November 3rd, 2006 at 10:59pm I read somewhere is was just like the beginning of the anger that you feel in the entire Bullets album.
Even though it is played at a regular tone, it seems to just set the mood for what comes next. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 157 | December 18th, 2006 at 12:25pm I know the lyrics to Romance. Gerard sang them on a show once.
The lyrics are:
"Came into my life and now you're gone
And you threw all youre things out the window
Things out the window
You gave up
You gave up
You gave up
You gave up
You gave up
You're gone" |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 537 | December 24th, 2006 at 12:08am i got the tabs for it and it was really complex......it said that it was played with a spanish guitar, and with Ray's hispanic heritage, that may have had something to do with it....yeah and i heard gerard say that he listens to that before a show to pump him up....dont know if he does anymore tho... |

The first time I heard this song I was like : stunned cause it's so beautiful. I played it for my guitar final. It got me an A |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 2771 | January 2nd, 2007 at 06:57pm It's such a melancholy, beautiful guitar solo that just shows you how depressing the album really is going to get. Even though MCR didn't write it, it still deserves to have a place here since it's part of the Bullets album, and it's still oh-so beautiful. |

It sounds like someone lost someone.

it sounds like the person is griefing.
it also literally ends on a sadd note. |

Age: 34 Gender: Male Posts: 74 | February 17th, 2007 at 09:38am I always saw this song as sort of the calm before the storm. In Honey Gerard seems to be talking about how his girlfriend/ex girlfriend cheated on him or went with his friends, so I saw Romance as perhaps a time when it was better between the two of them. Perhaps not, thats just how I interpret the song. No matter what, it's still a great track and a great way to start the album |
