It doesn't seem that interesting to me. More like a webcomic rather than something I'd want to buy volumes of.

Random information, but. Yesterday i was buying some MCR merch and the cashier started talking about MCR and gerard's book and she was saying something about "its going to be a series of 7 books" i wasnt too sure if she was talking about The Black Parade or The Umbrella Academy. She kinda kept crossing her sentences buy also i wasnt paying attention to much because i was beyond shocked...................she looked EXACTLY like alicia.

It was strange.

ive been looking on the internet about the comic, deperately trying to find out if its going to be available in england... i really hope it is

Ooh looks awesome. Just wondering why it's signed Gabriel? I haven't really been around the online MCR world for a while, is it his pen name?

Someone's probably answered this one already, but i'll just go ahead and do it again.
Gabriel Ba is the guy who is drawing the actual comic.
Gerard submitted the original sketches & wrote the script for it, but Gabriel is the person who is actually drawing it.
I believe the reason Gerard isn't drawing it is because the Black Parade touring and stuff isn't leaving time for much else.
At least, that's what i've read in a couple of magazines.

Actually yes, that's exactly it. The tour is going to be going for quite a good chunk of 2007 and Gerard won't have time to draw anything for The Umbrella Academy. As it is I think he chose a very good artist, I like Ba's work. Though it would have been cooler if he'd asked Grant Morrison, hehehe!

Edit: Since I forgot not everyone likes comics... This is a joke. Grant Morrison doesn't draw as much anymore.

I think you should only buy this if you are into comics, not if you want to support what Gerard is doing or because you want it to sell, because imagine every MCR fan buying the comic and then ofcorse the comic readers, like it would sell so well but it kind of wouldnt be good if it sold only because people like Gerard, he would get hurt if they didnt buy it to enjoy it (even though you probarby would end up liking it). that doesnt make sense but yeah only buy it if you are interested in comics.

Not trying to be mean, but that's kind of a rude thing to say. Why can't people who aren't that into comics buy it to support Gerard? I think he'd like his bands fans to buy it along with other people.
