gleek:^^Ive always wanted to live in Greensboro...no idea why
Well really I live in Summerfield, but Summerfield is just outside Greensboro so most of everything I do is in Greensboro, like my school is in Greensboro.
Summerfield is just a bunch of fields with cows and horses. Nothing really interesting about it.
Weird barn thing that I drive past all the time. |

By the way, It is not nearly that long any more. This must be an old picture because I don't even remember it being that long.
Windsor:
Ambassador bridge. (Windsor/Detroit):
The Detroit Skyline. It's pretty visible, usually.
Jackson Park
Well, I was looking for a certain picture but couldn't find it.
It's a "Welcome to Windsor" sign.
The sign says "Automotive capitol of Canada."
Someone crossed of Automotive and put Unemployment. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 37823 | September 11th, 2010 at 12:14pm I'm from the bad ugly part of San Diego.
But sometimes I ecape to a nice part to just hang out on a free sunny afternoon like so
Basically Downtown and up is the nice part of town. South is just one barrio after another, unless you go out east. But I live in the part next to the Mexican border, it's just a barrio down here with alot of gangs, drugs and violence. But the rest of San Diego is gorgeous. |

As a matter of fact, my family on my mother's side came from Italy in the 1850s to help design this, The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis.
Santa Fe is a nice place, really. I love it here. |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 932 | March 26th, 2011 at 08:37am Well, I live in Göteborg (Gothenburg in English). It's the second biggest urban area in Sweden, located on the west coast. I was born here, raised and have lived here all my life.
What can you say about this city?
We have a ferris wheel that almost everyone is pissed off about.
Our amusement park has a roller coaster that was voted Best Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster in the world twice.
When Bruce Springsteen played here in 1985, everyone in the arena jumped at the same time, causing it to actually move a few inches because of the pressure. Since then, they had to put more support to prevent it from happening again. The arena is still playing host to many big artists (including Green Day last year), but the record is still being held by Springsteen, when over 64 people attended his concert on the very day when the arena moved.
Other than that, many heavy metal bands with international success are from here, for example Hammerfall.
The city was also where all the Swedes started their emigration to US, because of our habour facing the Atlantic.
For me, I think that the most beautiful part of this city is the old parts. Haga for example, and Vasastan. We also have a really cool building that usually is the place for artists and small concerts.
I must say that I really like my hometown, but I can't wait to leave soon. I've lived here for 18 years, it's enough. |
