Manchester is an amazing city. We have the best football team in the world: Manchester United. They play at Old Trafford. This is Beetham Tower which is/was the tallest building in Europe We had an IRA bomb in about 1996 which meant most of the the city centre to be completely rebulit. On the lighter side we hosted the 2002 Commonwealth Games which i went to and had a great time at. We're also the home of many great bands including: Oasis, Joy Division, The Smiths and Take That.

HOLLA we're also home to The Stone Roses Urbis is an exhibition centre located in central Manchester, England. The centre features changing exhibitions on the subject of city life, alongside talks, gigs and other events. all the scene kids chill outside there too afflecks palace is like this incredible indoor market. it sells emo/scene/goth/indie/alt/ etc etc clothes, accessories, paintings..eveything really its in the northern quarter, alongside shops like thunderegg, forbidden planet and various art galleries. its like alternaive central

Not really very hip but it's a rocking town nonetheless! It's little enough to feel like your own corner of the world, and big enough to keep one passionate and motivated, which is what I love about it. We've a lot of history; the city is over 1000 years old, and is built on the banks of the river Liffey, from where it got it's name - "Dublin" coming from the Irish "Dubh Linn" which means "black pool", what the Normans called the river. It's not the most colourful city in the world but it's got some beautiful, quaint old buildings and a lot of things to see. We've a great literary background and the best accent in the world. Ever. Word. <3 St Stephen's Green O'Connell Street Blackrock, by the sea A wee photo of a tiny bit of my massive university from the air - I miss home. Right now I'm studying in Aix-en-Provence, I'll be here til June. It is pretty - - but it's not like home!

I'd love to go see what Canada's like, I know it's a massive place with lots of different things about each region, but yeah. My husband and I are always like, 'I'm sick of this country and it's bull! We're moving to Canada!!' Although I think my husband gets most of his ideas of what Canada's like, from watching Trailer Park Boys. He wants to go live in the place where it's filmed lol
