Thanks. ^^ |

Heh, good luck with that :s
If you want it for free, then your best bet is someplace like LimeWire, where you can download programs. But it's illegal.

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 965 | January 12th, 2008 at 07:40am For those that are interested in forking out for Photoshop, I know of a cheap alternative that DOES selective colouring...
It's not that well known, but the program's called Serif Photoplus. I know version 11 has selective colouring, curves, etc. but I'm not sure about earlier versions.
This site gives you a brief overview, and rough prices (in British pounds)
Here
I only know about this, as my school has it
Hope someone finds this useful..
EDIT: The one down side is that it only saves things as a serif file, so you have to merge all layers and copy and paste it all into paint to save it... But still.. It's really good.

The only ways you can get it for free is to get someone to send it to you, download it off limewire, or download the trial, then look up a serial number on the internet for it :] |

Age: 103 Gender: Female Posts: 5519 | January 13th, 2008 at 02:03pm What kind of colouring tools are there in Photoshop?
I recently downloaded it but have like no idea what to do.
On GIMP there used to be a Layers box, where you could insert new layers and set them to different levels e.g. burn, hard light, dodge etc.
Does anyone know of anything like that on Photoshop or of anything else I can use to mess around with the colouring?
Also how are textures/masks/brushes used?
Like how are they meant to be used?
I'm a complete noob at that kind of stuff so guidance would be appreciated. :]
And since so many people have mentioned it what is selective colouring? |
