Burn started the caption contest months ago, but she could manage to do it just once a week, on tuesdays and for a few hours. Meaning timezones screwed our asses. So she came up with this idea of having a separate thread for it and keep it open for a whole week and we would takes turns judging. sigh but she has disappeared! and unfortunately I have no other contact with her besides INO. So, no. I have no idea what happened to her. I could keep judging the contest by myself.... but... well, the last weeks I've noticed too little enthusiasm. I lurk the regular captions thread all the time and there're good captions/captionettes there, but this thread is always kind of abandoned, except for the few loyal ones that come here and post. That's why I've kept the contest open for so long at times. We never stated a minimun number of captions to judge, but how can I pick 3 if there's 6 posts? Especially when every captionette gets to make 3 entries? And the other reason. I lurk constantly, I've been called scary cause everytime someone makes a caption mentioning me I appear out of nowhere. But I haven't made a caption in ages!! And there's excellent new people who could be better than me at judging this thing. (As much as I love doing it) So I'll ask you people, if you want me to keep it up, if you want me to have another captionette to help me or if you'd rather have someone else judging. That if you want this thing to keep going! we can still kill the thread! I guess that's all. There won't be a competition this week, till you help me decide what's gonna happen with the CCC!
