I used to get really mad but I just ignore them now. I'm one of the only people in my school who doesn't like rap so I'm kinda used to it. My sister doesn't like them just because they wear eyeliner! And she says they're too old to write a song about teenagers. But I found a few of their songs on her ipod lol.
Also a guy in my grade saw a picture of them in my locker and he points at them and says "Look at these guys! Vampire, vampire, werewolf, vampire, werewolf..." Lol thats wasn't really offensive though, just funny. |

me: yeah, it will sort of be a mix between muse, saosin, and my chemical romance
cuz: I only know one of those, and they suck. its my chemical romance. they suck, their music sucks, the lyrics suck, and they just sing about how bad their lives are.
me: actually, they are not depressed. they sing about some sad stuff because life IS sad. they're just singing about reality. and btw, have you even heard any of their stuff? do you even know any of their album names or songs? have you watched any interviews? do you even know their story? just look at famous last words, for crying out loud.
cuz: yeah, well, they still suck. and yes, (other cousin) likes famous last words, but they are still creepy and depressing. you should listen to dave matthews. he sings about sad stuff too, but he's is a really good singer and writes really good songs.
me: whatever, just don't call a band depressed without doing your research. its bad enough blaming a band to be depressed when they're not without being completely ignorant about the band too.
cuz: well..i don't like to argue about bands, so i'm just going to stop.
