What is the weirdest reaction you've gotten from someone for liking MCR?

a few different ones:

my best friend from last year: is that the band with the guy with the mullet?
me: who? no!

my friend who i nerd out about green day with: ew! you emo
me: poo you.

the above friend's brother: oh god, you finally have a music taste
me: yay!

my dad: aren't they the gay band who wears all the makeup?
me: NO!

my best friend: what--no more green day?
me: um...nobody said that

my other friend: i'm so glad you like them and not green day now
me: what?!?!?!?!

yea once i was at school and i noticed a mcr pic in this girl's planner.
me: so, you like mcr?
girl: OMG!! yes they are so good!! i love them so much!! Do you like them?
me: yer, they r my favourite band.
girl: welcome to the black parade is the best song eva!
me: so what other mcr songs do you like?
girl: well. . . that one Helen. . Helaine. . umm. . Helena. thats a good song
me: can you name any of their other songs?
girl: umm. . . (she goes all quiet, then i walk off)

then there was the incident which occured exactly a year ago. . .
me: its Gerard Way's birthday today
friend: who?? . . . o yer, that gay guy from that stupid emo band you like
(very angry . . . at this point i felt like slapping her)

Today, i was shopping and they had this tv on. i was in the middle of a conversation with my cousin, when i turned around and saw INO on tv. i squeeled and everyone turned and looked at me. i happened to be wearing mostly black clothes and my mcr t-shirt. i was just standing their watching it, and during the whole time it was on i got these looks from the pple walking passed. then i overheard someone say to the person they were walking with, "ewww, so emo!" but i just kept watching the tv. then i saw this other chick wearing an mcr top. it was kinda awkward. but we like smiled at each other.

Girl:So you like MCR?
Me:Yeh there my favorite band, why do you ask ?
Girl:No reason
*girl walks off to her friend and starts whispering to her and points at me*

if your going to say somthing insulting about me or MCR atleast wait till i'm gone. SESHHHH.

I think my art teacher almost died when she found out I liked them. I'm doing an art project in there about them and some other people saw it. One girl said they were creepy and the WTTBP video scared her. Other people saw it and I think they were freaked out, because I don't seen like someone who would like this band.

and also i think my teachers are scared of me cause i have my agenda and binder MCRified!!

sure im a 13-year old 5 foot 2 girl....but i SCARE THE SHIT out of my history teacher...i'll wear an MCR shirt, black painted nails, gray skinny jeans, and all-black converse...not scary to most...terrifying to him. He knows i like stuff like Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez films ( Frank MIller rox too!)...you know comedy/murder/killing/zombie/ massacre stuff...whenever we are watching a movie where there is killing (im usually giggling with my "emo" friends) he glares at ME, not us, ME (then i just giggle more, cuz hes glaring at me, trust me he can't look scary just retarded) then i speak to him in german and he gets mad cuz he cant understand me. ( i saw Grindhouse [its disturbingly amazing, not for the weak stomachs] and i told him about it, he almost DIED :] it was funny!) he also thinks MCR is satan Music and they look like vampires (hot vampires!)

My (extremely hot) friend Andy (today is his bday too!) is in my history teacher's class, but in another period, and he thinks Andy is the spawn of the devil-cult leader! (hilarious btw) whenever i borrow Andy's jacket i get plenty of EXTRA dirty looks from him (hes my only retarded teacher, the otha 1's luv me!)

That was from my Nan. I gave her the evilist look and sed: 'Yes nan, buy me those concert tickets and then ruin my life the that day onwards and risk never being ale to see your granddaughter again because she threw herself off a top of a building before the concert.'
