Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 2616 | June 8th, 2007 at 04:49am Brendon Urie has to be one of the cockiest front men i've ever seen.
When they played NZ he didnt connect with the audience, he just walks around & doesnt look at anyone. & then we called encore & he goes "ONE MORE THEN WE'RE GONE, ALRIGHT?"
It was so rude :'D
I would say PATD are bad live.
At BDO in January, MCR were average. Sound was so bad. Frank was missing. The whole dynamics & energy of the band has disappeared. So I guess i'll say they were bad live >_>
EDIT: A kiwi band that always does amazing outdoor gigs is 48May. They always sound good & they talk to the audience. so great |

I've seen MCR twice and thought they were flawless.
Biffy Clyro on they other hand >.<
I don't really like their music but I actually fell asleep and had to get woken up when The Used came on xD |

I know! They were horrible...
I remember I was on the floor when I saw them, and when I looked behind me
EVERYONE in the room was barely moving and a bunch of people had their
arms folded like they were just waiting for the next band. |

I don't know if this is even relevant, we're mostly talking about decent bands sucking live, but a sucky band sucking live is All-American Rejects.
Tyson Ritter was so trashed that he said "I love you L.A" when they were in NYC... |

Why do you hate them so much? I like Hawthorne Heights, I don't think they suck. but's it's your opinion so i'll respect it!
ANYWAY.. I never been to a concert but I saw a video on youtube with Panic! At The Disco singing Build God Then We'll Talk. Seriously Brendon sounded like an old 63 year old man coughing up a hairball. |

I haven't been on many concert, but youtube usually kills my time, so I heard and saw many bands on live videos...
MCR have their worse and better moments. There are few concerts that are absolutely amazing, but sometimes, while listening I would love Gerard to shut up... Really. I love these guys and shows that I went to were marvellous, I'm happy about it.
Fall Out Boy usually suck live. I'm going to check them out in reality, not youtube. I'll be able to listen to them on Decaydence Fest in Cologne, haha. I heard a lot, so I'm pretty sure that I'll leave them after playing Thanks For The Mmrs and/or Sophomore, my favourite songs.
You said a lot about Panic!... I think that they always want to change a show into a theatre play a bit. It's okay for me, 'cause I love to watch things that happen on stage, but... They're not super cool... Concerts get boring when guitarists always stand in one place and the only one who walks around (not even jump or anything...) is the lead singer. |
