Love Like Thorns:
I absolutely love them but..
Fall Out Boy
I think others will agree with me that they kinda need the fine tuning of a studio

FOB does not sick live. I saw them on June 1st and they were amazing.

...well maybe FOB sucked on the day Love Like Thorns saw them.

a band can give an amazing show one night, and a crap one the next.

Silverstein.
When I saw them at Warped [last year], they were horrid. Shane's voice cracked a lot, and half the time he was talking to Fat Mike from NOFX over on the next stage, about when they're going to play poker.
They weren't impressing at all. But it was nice of them to come out. They weren't schedualed to play.

Yes, definitely.
I might be biased because I don't like them at all.
But I was bored out of my mind during their set.

Save them live too,
I was screaming at him and doing the same,
I nearly passed out because I couldn't breathe, it made it worse when he decided to walk on top of the crowd.

yeh i gotta agree 30stm are pretty average live...not memorable.. the only memorable thing was that they had a whole bunch of asian shit on the stage.. that was different...

and yeah fob aren't the best live either... but they do put on an entertaining show.

but what bugs me is that a couple of people have said about certain bands that "they are good... but not live.."
my opinion is that if you can't sound at least reasonably good live ur a pretty crappy band..

oh yeah and brendon urie is crap live alot of the time.

Gnarls Barkley. They opened for My Chem at a radio station-sponsored concert in Sacramento last December. The lead singer was so damn cocky. He was saying what an amazing singer he is, and some guy behind us screamed "Gerard Way owns your ass." He heard him and flipped him off.

Also, Motley Crue. Or, more specifically, Vince Neil. On the Carnival of Sins tour they were brilliant, but they opened for Aerosmith and Vince was so loaded on booze that he only sang like every thrid word. Everything else was "wheeh." The lighting also sucked, because you couldn't see the band very well. That, or it was the two hippies smoking pot in front of me. Tall hippies.

Lifehouse, omg. Their set sounded like one really long song. We didn't even sit in the venue. We got up and left to go sit by the food booths. Glad we did, 'cause I ran into Brad, Goo Goo Dolls [The band we had come to see] support guitarist. He said hi to me and called me little. But he's like 6'2". So whatever. The point is, Lifehouse was baaaaad.

I'm done bitching now. lol.

Angels and airwaves.
Tom is so full of himself, he talks way too much about stuff that no one cares about, and he kept making godly gestures. I eventually just started screaming at him "Tom's a nazi!", because I was getting anooyed. I couldn't tell when they switched songs, unless Tom took the time to stop and talk for a good time.
It's basically over ambient sounds and whiney vocalizing.
That, and they had the nerve to do a Blink 182 cover.

I love them, but Fall Out Boy. I've heard them play live a couple times, and I wasn't impressed at all.
Pete, Joe, and Andy played fine. It was just Patrick.
He was just singing...wrong.

And Cute Is What We Aim For.
I'd rather cut my own hand off then listen to another one of their songs.

Jack's Mannequin. Andrew McMahon was like, spazzing out. I love them to death, but I was incredibly disappointed with their live performance.
Andrew was bouncy up and down so much that he wasn't singing into the mic a quarter of the time.

Personally, i think it depends on seeing show to determine if they truly suck or not
My Chem, most of the shows ive seen of them Gerard always seems out of breath, but at some he's pretty good
Out of all the shows ive seen of Panic! Not once have they sucked

Evanescence. I saw a video of their performance at Download, and while I thought Amy Lee was a whiner I had NO idea she could whine that much.

At least they didn't get bottled, unlike another certain band Shifty2

I agree that wasn't such a good performance overall, but usually they're amazing, especially in acoustic shows.

Maybe my ears are fucked up, but both times I saw them, they were amazing.
If you saw them with EM-CEE-URR, then it could have had something to do with the venue.
