The teenagers video is exactly the same as the second scene in that movie... I love Pink Floyd and i love MCR and its cool that they did the same sorta thing... you guys should watch it... its an awesome movie. still disapointed that it wasnt their idea but they did it ok.

meh. Thinking Happy Thoughts Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 475	May 30th, 2007 at 12:14am I'm not disappointed with it at all. Its a good video and a great song. I think that most of the hype was created by the fans because the official date kept on changing and not knowing the 'official' date. Therefore more suspense, the longer the wait, the more we (us fans) expect the video to be this great production. I'm pretty sure that MCR didnt intend to prolong the release of the video themselves. Gerard did say himself that it was important to release the video. About the cheerleaders, I dont think that MCR went in and said "oh we want cheerleaders but we want them to look all slutty and throw there skirts up so you can see their arses! what a cool vid that would be!" I agree with both domeofstars and windinyourhair, it could of just been the camera angle or the choreography, it could of most likely been both. Also, the song is about Teenagers and how scary they can be. Personally if i went to school where they had cheerleaders i'd be scared of them, they could be very well the nicest people that walk the earth but the image that the media has created of them hasnt been the best. That goes for every clique not just cheerleaders, what about nerds, jocks, emos, goths etc. I think they used cheerleaders as an example. just my rant. sorry for the essay
