my friends would never have their parties on a day of an amazing show.
so they would be there with me.
last year my friend cancelled her entire birthday party so we could go to the Blood Brothers concert.
i love my friends. lol. |

Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 4843 | July 4th, 2007 at 05:47pm I'd pick MCR over my friends b-day party !
I mean my friends know how much i LOVE MCR and I think they would understand,
Party's Come every year,
MCR comes... maybe, and may never come back. !
But don't get me wrong I would make up it up to them by throwing them a suprise party the next day or something ! |

Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 315 | July 4th, 2007 at 06:27pm I would pick my friend. Of course, the only friend I'm really that close to is a huge MCR fan, so I doubt she would have a party the day of a concert.
I also don't think my mom would let me go to a concert if it was the day of my friend's party.
You say "music can't stab you in the back", but you're being a fucking hypocrite by stabbing your own friend in the back in leaving them. It makes you no better than any friend who ever stabbed you.
I love MCR to death, but I also give a damn about how I treat my friends and what they think of me. I have this amazing ability to think about how other people are affected. I know, amazing, right? A friend would be hurt if you ditched them, but MCR would never know the difference if you missed a concert.
Besides, all you did was miss them live. Seeing a live show doesn't determine if you're a great fan or not. It doesn't make them not exist any more. They're still there. Sometimes you have to be less happy to make other people happy.
Yeah, MCR is amazing and has helped a lot of people, but face it: they aren't actually going to be there to hold you when you cry, or listen to you rant and plot revenge schemes, or laugh at your lame jokes, or give you advice when you most need it. They just can't be.
And if you're thinking I'm a lesser fan because of it, or that you're obviously truer to MCR and care more about music than I, you can just shove it. |

if it was another friend, then i would probably go to the concert because they know how much music means to me.
of course i would make it up to them after! |

because my best friend would totally understand and
probably actually make me go to the concert if i said i'd go to her
birthday.
besides birthdays happen every year.
and they're just another reason to have a party, which happen
all the time.
mcr concerts are not all that often =P |
