Apparently MCR were on My Super Sweet Sixteen recently, performing for someones birthday. I didn't see it, because I'm in England, but I heard about it here: http://www.theblackparade.net/showthread.php?t=5311.

The girl they performed had cancer, so it wasen't just for a rich kid who threw a ton of money at them, it was for a good cause.

What do you think?

I think its rather sweet...

Even if some rich kid chucked billions at them, I don't think they would do it... (Unless they were in serious danger of not recouping for this album)

I'm in England as well... but I'm gonna root around youtube for some vids...

i was flipping the channels, and it came on, i heard someone singing in a cake 'happy birthday'
it sounded really familiar, and then they opened up the cake, and it was gerard!!!
then they played a bunch of songs like im not okay, teenagers [those were the only ones they showed]
they even gave the birthday cake to her
i swear to god, i was practically crying the whole time i was so flipping excited

the episode was awesome.
apperently mcr took a day off there tour to come celebrate a sweet sixteen with a girl with cancer.
her story was really sad i thought getting chemotheropy must hurt badly.

mcr love them cause they preformed for a greater cause to help this girls sweet sixteen dreams come true

that episode was the best party in the world. It gave me chills to hear Gee singing Happy Birthday. (Although, it did give me the strange mental picture of Gee in a stripper's outfit jumping out of the cake)

i saw that, they gave the girl the best party ever! i wanted to go. x]
but she totally deserved it, such a good cause. i started to cry a little, thinking about all the crap she must have gone through and then her dreams came true. :]
when i heard gerard singing happy birthday i thought he was going to jump out of the cake that was onstage. i almost died. x]] (he kind of did jump ouf of the cake.)

I was watching the episode and then I heard someone singing Happy Birthday...and I was screaming to my sister OMG THAT SOUNDS LIKE GERARD!!! And of course, it was him.
The only thing was she didn't seem too excited. She nearly passed out when The Used sent a video greeting to her.
