I found it important to make this thread
cause I owe it to God for even giving me the ability
to even do this kind of stuff

He really is the one who saved me

I pray before I sleep and go to church every Sunday.
It's not the highlight of my day honestly, but it makes me feel more...I don't know, cleansed?

My church is so awesome, too.

whoa that's exactly how I feel about it Surprised
He gave me life and for some strange reason my prayers are often answered.

I love this thread!!!

God has done so much for me, I can't even start to list everything!!

Actually yesterday in church, I felt the closest to Him that I ever have before. It was a lovely sermon and we ended with Amazing Grace.

Quite a moving experience.

There's something so emotional and touching about Amazing Grace.
Quite honestly, I can't hear or sing it without bursting into tears.
Especially The Almost's version, "Amazing Because It Is".
Everytime I hear it, on the cd, or live, I cry.

alright, lets see if i can do this without crying.
i was brought up as a chrsitian but never really believed in it or anything
so, after a few scary experienced with this one particulary nasty demon who lived in my house (first it possessed me, no joke, and then it tried to suffocate me when i was in bed...it was fucking terrifying, excuse the language) i started to realise that god really is there, and that was proved to be when he got rid of the demon. i won't go into full detail, it's a really long story but if anyone's interested feel free to message me.

anyway, when i was a kid god used to tell me all the time that i was grown up to share my story with the world. i would alsways ask 'what is my story?' but i would never get a reponse.
since i've become a christian again (which was only about 2 weeks ago i have to admit) he's been telling me the same thing, but now i understand what my story is. and this is just the beginning of it.

my mum did a 'god spaces' session with a group of people one time, and the woman leading it asked them all to drawn a problem in their lives. what my mum ended up drawing was a tree with 4 branches, one for her, one for my dad, one for my brother and one for me. my branch was breaking off the tree.
then she was asked to draw god. so my mum drew a picture of the world with the infinity sign over it to signify god. she was then told to place the picture of god over the problem and pray over it.
afterwards she drew one more picture, which was the solution. she has no idea what she was drawing, but the other day when i told her god wanted me to share my story she realised what this final picture meant and she showed me.
it was a drawing of me standing on a stage telling my story to thousands of people.

in the short time that i've been a christian god has done so much for me. i can't wait to see what else he has instore for my future.

continuing on from what i posted the other day, the most hilarious thing happened this morning.
i woke up to a demon (or something of the sort) attempting to get into my room...however as the door in coated in holy oil it couldnt get through and ended up bashing into the door frame.
i laughed myself senseless, it was hilarious!!
the thing is; if that had of happened even a week ago i would have been petrified. but now i'm not afraid...because i know who i have on my side and compared to Jesus these things are little ants that i can squash in an instant.
i feel amazing today Smile

I agree with all the people that have liked the idea of this thread =)

Jesus seriously helps me from day to day. I know he's there without much doubt in my mind...
I don't see how life would be barable without him... I wouldn't be able to control my emotions or know how to maintain them, personally I haven't felt closer to him than I have in the past 2 years... just going to cut it short for now ^^

I feel bad lately.
I've turned away from God a bit.
and like I've gone back.
but all it feels like is bad crap is happening.
and nothing good. (which sucks yknow?)
but I believe God will make things better..
if I just give the time and effort to make this relationship work
Its not a one way thing..
and like I've been praying a lot more..
but I've really been slacking in reading...

well last year i went on a mission trip and was worried about earning money [$1,100]
so i prayed about it and my aunt gave me a check for $500. and i ended up with way more than i needed and even helped other people with earning their money. and while on the mission trip we brought a lot of people to Christ. i had an awesome time.
