parts of the USA are cool, yeah. But places like Minnesota, Iowa, and the central states are boring. Iowa is basically endless plains.
Ah. My camera is terrible, I was gonna bring it to the show, but I couldn't find the memory card. without the memory card, it would have held like five pictures. ...but at least it would have had zoom. Remind me next time Meriwether come to minnesota, to bring my digital camera. =p
I don't think the new album is gonna be released anytime soon. There's no more national tour dates, and I think they would go on tour to support the album. it's a rumor I heard, so far, but someone said they asked a member of the band [I don't know which one] when the album is gonna be released. They said in April of 2009, or something like that.
Now, when I asked Josh at my show, he said it was gonna be in October. well, techinally he said next month, which meant october. Well, at least that's what I remember him telling me. My mom thinks she remembers them saying a date in 2009. My mom has a bad memory, and I don't recall them saying that, but then again I have a bad memory too. Sorry, rambling again!

I think I just found "Can't Get Over You." It's on MTV's website. It's adorable, but I don't know... it reminds me of another band, I don't know who. (my first thought was Fall Out Boy, but I have no clue.) It's like they scatter their Mp3's around, like a scavenger hunt for the album. We only need like two more songs to have heard the full studio album. x]
darn. I'll try ripping it for you. It'll probably take a while because my audio ripper has been working like crap lately. It stop working, and then I have to start recording the song all over again.

haha. they seem to have a lot of those, though. apparently, drew can't hold onto a girl for more than 10 seconds.
I just seem to get used to it. x] It has a good rhythm to it, and the "I hate repeating part" isn't like the rest of the song.
...personally, I think it shouldn't be on the album, and nouns and pronouns should be.

they hardly ever play b-sides, and their older songs [Easier, Six Good Friends, Battle of lights.], sooo I desperately want it to be on the sons of our fathers album, so they can play it more. which won't happen, but still.
I was watching the Damage dvd last night, and the bootleg section. 'Can't Get Over you' has re-vamped lyrics from Cockroach on 12, an old meriwether song. yup, random meriwether fact of the day.

just experimenting with their sound, that's all. they've been hanging out with The Vettes too much. x] (The vettes is this sorta pop-y band from Louisiana.) Cockroach on 12 was better, in my opinion. I'd upload it sometime.
