purveyors of dreams. Salute You in Your Grave

I cried when I heard The Ghost Of You, cause the first time I heard it was when I watched the video.
But when I actually, really listened properly to Demolition Lovers, I just sat there with my earphones playing the song, I think it put me in a kind of trance. I love it, it's beautiful. |

Demolition lovers was one of the first MCR songs I heard. It used to be my favourite (but now cancer and famous last words are). I still absolutely love it. It brings back memories from summer of when I used to listen to it everyday, full on, while my parents were out taking my sister to ballet. But I don't think I ever cried listening to it.

I also had something like that for "Desert Song", "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville", "Cemetary Drive", and a few other songs that I can't remember at the moment. |

Even though I'm not obsessed with MCR anymore.
I didn't think much of it before, but now it's pretty heavy.
This song literally saved my life. |

Then I put myself into it, like I always do with songs, and I listen to it literally everyday, because I love the melody and how it is sort of different from the rest. I wish they would do more of this kind of music, even if it is one more song. It really touched me a way that meant something to me. |

Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 730 | January 17th, 2007 at 01:14pm The first time I heard it....I didn't cry...I just sat on the floor for about ten minutes feeling like I'd just been hit by an emotional truck....then I listened to it again and cried a lot! As well as being my favourite mcr song, I think its one of my favourite songs of all time.....its insanely, brutally beautiful, and heart wrenchingly honest.....which makes it hard to top i guess! |
