My Chemical Romance - particularly Gerard if I'm talking about voices and the most amazing lyrics that will ever be written. I could probably write a book about this band means to me but, haha, too long for a post. And then Ray Toro if I'm talking about guitar because his fluency and...wow, just his amazing ability of being a guitarist just inspires me to be just as good as him. And I'm trying.

Paramore - Hayley Williams has the best (female) voice...ever. Seriously. Her voice is so powerful and strong and it has so much precision and the way she vibrates her voice...she gives me inspiration to sing as powerful and strong as her. Everything about her is basically perfect but her voice...if you've ever heard an acapella of her voice, you'll hear the amazing precision, articulation, and power in her voice. It has so much emotion also. Josh is also a very talented guitarist (including Jason, shouldn't forget about him), being practically teaching himself - that's freakishly awesome, if you ask me. And his backup vocals...I think you get the idea. Each lyric is amazing also, not as good as MCR's (sorry!) but it can be simple and so affective and the figurative language is amazing. They have a lot of lines that just send chills through my body and stick in my head forever. Ah, I love every single song! I love 'em just about as much as MCR. But MCR will always be #1, I mean they saved my life. (But Paramore helped) Plus, for a first album, (and Hayley being 16 then) is freakishly amazing. I mean, how many bands can do that?!

Slash - I'm sorry, but, c'mon, he's just about the freakishly amazingest guitarist ever. I adore him with my heart!

Wow, that was long...(btw, I can say a lot more about both bands but that would be 2 long)

I think I get influenced by attitudes and styles, there aren't many people to influence piano/keyboards, apart from Amy Lee.

So I'd have to say Kurt Cobain is the biggest influence especially on my lyrics, in fact, it's mainly on my lyrics. His life was a mass of contradictions, and many of his lyrics are too. It's just genius

Inspiration for me? Let's see ever since I was about the age of four I listened to The Beatles, so I'd say overall they gave me the inspiration, but back then I always wanted to play drums like Ringo Starr, XD The Beatles and Elvis Presley were the first artists that threw me into the music scene, but the most current bands that have impacted the way I view music is Blue October for the amazing lyrical writings, Bright Eyes for the passion he puts into his music, Death Cab for Cutie for the way they want to impact the world, and My Chemical Romance of course, for the heart they put into their band.....

Aaron Gillespie - He is an amazing drummer and a great person.
He has so much passion for drums, you can really hear it in Underoath's songs. He gives so much, and he is so talented.
I love his dedication to the instrument, he taught himself and he's been playing scince he was about four.
He amazes me.

Underoath - the band in general have so much talent and so much energy live.

My Chemical Romance - Hearing/reading/seeing things about the old days
when they used to do very small tours and tour in their van is really admirable,
they didn't care about anything but making music and getting people to listen to them.
And I love that.

my main influences talent and performance wise has got to be:

- Michael Jackson (good god. who doesn't he influence?)
- Buckethead (for being the weirdest and greatest guitar playing sumbitch around)
- Jason Becker (he composes the greatest music even though he's permanently paralyzed from head to toe)
- Yngwie Malmsteen (kind of like beethoven at guitar)

and/or generally any person who performs their music with talent and passion.
i love watching and hearing people play guitar.
