hmm. has america fallen?
i don't know how to answer that. like a lot of people have already said, america's foundation and history is based on some shaky grounds. a lot of hypocrites, weak leaders, lying to the people, and mucho unmoral acts. If anything, i think all of these qualities have just evolved, but now they seem magnfied, because it seems to me that people all over are beginning to question their government more and more.
in addition to mass-distrust of our government, (and accordingly, a divided nation)a lot of factors that are bringing down our society in general are arising, like mass materialism, for one. our economy's poopy too.
america has problems, but where to put the blame is difficult. |
