I was reading this week's issue of TIME magazine, and in the pop chart section they had a picture of Vladmir Putin (the Russian president, I think) and Gerard Way with the caption Russia plans to outlaw emo music. Emo music happiest unloved.
I thought the last sentence was kind of funny |

The piece is about TUA - the Eisner, the next series, ect... the only MCR reference is that they are on a break. They needed a break and are on a break.

"We're on a bit of a down-time now", explained Way, who says the band have no immediate plans save a contribution to the soundtrack of Watchmen - possibly a cover of Bob Dylan's "Desolition Row" - a movie adapted from a comic book.
"Not that it's calculated or strategic", he added, "but we're at a point in our career when we should and could take take time off. And we have not lived enough to write any new material yet. It's not a about being inspired musically, it's [can't see what it says] "What is it about?". If you've got nothing to say, you shouldn't make a new record".
(that's what it says about My Chem)
well we can't exactly call it good news, can we? |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 2086 | August 16th, 2008 at 06:07am ^^ it's still not particularly bad though, i mean, he has a good point when he says 'if you've got nothing to say, you shouldn't make a new record'
in the long run it's a good thing, cos the new album will be much better when they've lived enough to have stuff to write about x] |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 28500 | August 16th, 2008 at 08:43am Yeah, like you said in the previous post, it is probably I good thing in the long run. It just feels a bit hard now, that we're gonna have to wait for such a long time. But I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 911 | August 16th, 2008 at 08:57am As long as their 4th album's not 5+ years like it will be between Green Day's American Idiot and whatever their new album will be, then I will be happy... and yeah, I know that they're Foxboro Hottubbing, but I want an actual Green Day album.
An MCR break is good (sure, it's not as good as the band actually being around etc, but it's still better than them saying that they're gonna break up or something). I'm sure that their new album will be really good considering they will all be refreshed. |

Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 171 | August 16th, 2008 at 09:25am I'm glad they're having a break and stuff.
But he doesn't really sound very optimistic about continuing.
I have no doubts they eventually will (when the have more to write about)
but still.
*Fingers crossed they have some lovely happenings in their lives they want to write about*
but they could do with the break
ialso, i want frankie to have a couple of months break he's gonna wear himself out with leathermouth, not that i dislike them. |
