I started singing along mindlessly cause..well..after a while the chorus just sticks. I must have been about 10/11. Then in October, in the same shop listening to the same radio they played the Black Parade. I got home and typed in My Chemical Romance on YouTube and it came up with I'm Not Okay at the top. I watched it and realised it was the same song I'd heard 2 years ago and loved but not known any way to find out what it was! Haven't looked back since lol XD

The "Helena" video came on, and I barely even paid attention to the song - I was just entranced by the awesomeness of the video itself. So I checked out the name of the band and the song... I remember thinking "My Chemical Romance" was a weird-ass name for a band. I didn't actually hear the song fully again until my best friend made me watch the House of Wax credits to hear the song. She didn't know who the band was, but I sort of remembered it and shouted, "Holy crap, it's that Chemical thing! Wow, this song is really GOOD!" And the rest is history...
XGiddyAsAGangBangerX Killjoy Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 26	August 3rd, 2007 at 07:11pm twas the summer of 2005 and i was always just flicking through the music channels and i started to notice this song they were playing quite a bit all of a sudden (was Helena), i never stopped to listen cos first impression made me think 'ugh, reminds me of the Rasmus (really hated them ) but then i was over in New York visiting my cousin and it was CONSTANTLY being played on the music channels there, i started to actually watch it and...it was so weird, all of a sudden, i was MADLY IN LOVE!! just like that, out of nowhere, i just became obsessed with this band and its frontman Gerard, when i had originally been ignoring it! i laugh at that now! lol! its the first time that ever happened to me with a band, i had always had favourites, but nothing LIKE THIS! suddenly i was just worshipping these guys...they meant so muh to me and i was so hungry for them, i'd never experienced a love for a band like that before, or since, thats why im convinced they're special
