Hendrix is good, but Jade Puget isn't outstanding at guitar. AFI is a good band, but not really outstanding at guitar.

Finally. I love Slash. He inspired Synyster from avenged sevenfold. Slash defiantly deserverss to be part of the guitar gods,
Bryan May, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Tony Iommi, and more.....

1. Slash. He changed the general stereotype of grunge metal to be a trashy mish-mash of screwed up 'n' flat powerchords; people began to realise that not all grunge 'n' metal guitarists are so one-way and simple with their rythm, but they can also be diverse in their mechanistic styles. For example, Slash was a very good blues player as well as rock. He could change his finger style to the piece of music accordingly.

2. Steve Vai. Duh, Steve Vai?

3. Hendrix. Need no explanation.

.... Because Rhythm is just playing cords in a steady 8th note pattern.

Ex: 1( & ) 2( & ) 3( & ) 4( & ) (da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da ect. ect.)

One last thing, and I'm done, I swear.

Well, I'd start a fight over it, but you know what? I'm not. I'm just gonna say listen to some of Jade's recored solos, then listen to him play it live. Hopefully I won't need to explain anymore.

Iron Maiden have three guitarists.
You've got to be more precise.

Herman Li. He's not the best, he features in 'total guitar' magazine monthly, giving lessons on sweep picking and tapping. If you notice his solo's in dragonforce, he often doesn't move too much and he uses his picking hand to tap a lot more than you would think. His sweep picking, though, is extroadinary.

Surprised You read my mind....

Herman Li is amazing, but the music is based sorely on them showing off...
