Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 253 | December 8th, 2007 at 11:02am what type of wood is best for an electric guitar?
I'm mainly asking about the body..does it really make that much of a difference what type of wood is used for the body ?
most of the ones i've seen have a Rosewood fretboard and maple neck, and lots of different variations of woods used for the body, like poplar, alder, basswood etc. |

just be careful ae... there unfortunately a good chance the extra weight will take its toll and permanently damage your back. I have seen that happen to a few people. |
