I gave up on buying a Squier and bought an Epiphone Les Paul Special 2. It's gorgeous and sounds great too.

But I'm buying a new one next week and I'm really excited for my first expensive guitar.

I play guitar. I've been playing for like 4 years. I got a Squier Strat (in black) and a shitty amp along with it. I so need to buy a new amp. And I also have intentions of buying an armalite shaped guitar. For the inspiration of playing, I'd like to thank Gerard and Ray. I guess Frank, too.

My first guitar was a Fender Squire Strat but personally I didn't like it. I recently bought a Stagg G-force which, although most people don't like them, I think it is better suited to my techniques in playing and it produces the sounds I like. I really want this pretty white Ibanez I saw in Guitar Mania a few weeks ago. It sounds great too!

Okay, this is reaaaaallly urgent. My music teacher in school is making me do a Grade 1 piece to start off GCSE practical work, but cause i've not done Grade 1 for ages, i've lost the CD. So, could anybody do me a hugehugehugehugehuge favour and if you have the Rock School Grade 1 CD and upload 'Hard Case' for me please? I would be so grateful.

I know this is a weird question, but does anyone have suggestions on how NOT TO DROP YOUR PICK?

XDD I do that all the time. I hate it when I drop it in my acoustic guitar. It takes me ages to get it out.

Anyway, I play a JD Luthier's acoustic and it's about 1/2 size. I am, however, getting an Epiphone Les Paul Custom at Christmas Very Happy It's second hand, but it's all good! It's a sunburst finish, and it's pretty ^_^

I've been playing for about three years; two years teaching myself and I got lessons this year. I can play a whole whack of MCR stuff, except most of the superb Toro solos. I can play a fair bit of Green Day and Senses Fail.

I'm trying to decide between a $150 to $200 Ibanez electric guitar or a similarly-priced Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar.

Any suggestions?

What are the differences between the two?

Some things I'm wondering:
Pros/cons of each?
Differences in the style of music they are geared towards?
Pick-up differences?
Weight differences?
Overall quality?

My sister has an Ibanez, and I have an Epiphone Les Paul Special 2.
I prefer the sound, the tones of my Epiphone, the Ibanez seems a bit rougher.
But the Ibanez is SO much lighter and a bit easier to play.
Overall, they're both good guitars, I couldn't say which is better than the other.
There are detailed reviews on ultimate-guitar.com , I considered them pretty useful when I bought my guitar.

Hey guys, which one do you like more, an acoustic one or the electric one? Have you ever named your guitars?
