this video makes me so mad.
i hate the way music videos portray cheerleaders.
skinny, boob-less girls who can pelvic thrust and shake their ass.
almost NO cheerleaders look like that, or act like that.
people don't actually realize how freaking hard cheerleaders practice.
for my JV squad, it's 4 days a week, 3 hours a day,
then one day of weight training & one day of tumbling.
& it's so hard, people go home crying.
& for all-star, it's that x 10.
if you want to see some REAL cheerleading, look below.
hard work & dedication
not sloppy ass moves & being horny all the time.

and, unaware to some,
cheerleaders have this crazy thing called muscle.
& all of them have it.

i don't know if those girls are real cheerleaders,
or just girls that can kick high,
but it really bugs me.
& i want to write an angry letter.

& i know the video is meant to be funny,
but i sort of find it offending.

[i'm not saying that cheerleaders can't be skinny, but most of them have a lot of muscle to them]

God, everyone has to be offended by something in this video, I swear.

No, scratch that. Everyone has to find something MCR said did or stood for that they can be all pissed about. Everyone.

Except me. ^^; I love it, and the cheerleaders especially. The gas masks are supercool, and I like the way they dance when they're wearing them.

Ti Amo; You're Dead?:
I think alot of people are disappointed with it because everyone made such a huuuge thing about it and expected too much, if nobody'd known until last week then I think it would have been received much better.

You know, I bet you're right.

I think most of us have cheerleaders at our schools. (Or, for me, had. Heh.)

Perhaps unfortunately, the MAJORITY of cheerleaders are somewhat thin, or at least not overweight. Since the majority of them are that way, it probably just so happens that the ones who auditioned were also mostly somewhat thin, and it was probably a coincidence that all of the ones chosen were thin.

Also, I'm sure that if you looked at all of the cheerleaders standing next to each other in a photo (not a cap from the video, but like, a lineup), you'd likely see lots of differences in body shape and whatnot. No, there won't be any overweight girls, but I'm sure at least half are average. if that makes you feel any better.

I prefer to just enjoy the vid, but I don't want you to feel bad about the boys' stuff.

Love it, love it, effing love it!
That was amazing! Not like what i expected at all! I though the cheerleaders were a nice touch [especially the gas masks] and i loved Gerard's spazz dance. But my fav part would have to be MCR getting mauled by the teenagers and Frank having his guitar stolen.
I love how they put in the disclaimer at the end of the video, that was really responsible of them. Heh, when i first heard about the vid i was afraid people would take it the wrong way.

But i think people are taking the vid way to seriously. I mean, it's just a music video, not a big expose on the teenager life style. So if people are offended by me being confused on why they're offended thats just what i think.

it was ok, very well...boring and it ended up just looking like an MCR concert at the end but i must agree...what's with the skanky cheerleaders??? i thought they were against the preppy crew? well that's what i understood the song to be about.

Ahahaha.
The spazz dance.
Gotta love the spazz dance.
Was he told to do it, or was it just ... random ...?

And did Franks guitar get stolen?
I saw some kid holding it up in the air ...
But it was going too fast, so I couldnt tell wether it was Frank or not ...

That video was pretty darn impressive and I rather liked it; completely the opposite of Famous Last Words and WTBP, and nothing like I Don't Love You either; pretty darn chirpy song. Well, apart from the fact they are talking about how much teenagers scare them....
Okay, what have people been complaining about though? Apart from the cheerleaders; which I really can't comment on - There are no cheerleaders in our schools over here, and if there are, I don't go to school any more.

I don't think "skanky" is the correct term. They weren't really sexual in any way, so I don't really see how they could be remotely skanky. MCR isn't against anybody. They tend not to favor ignorant people, in general, but ignorant people can be anybody, not just one type of people. And, the song is about teen violence.
