Next competition is to make something obviously using the liquify/warp/smudge tool or tools. It's liquify on PS, on GIMP it's warp, dunno what it is for other things. And smudge is valid too. But just make it clear that that was there.

This is going to sound nasty, but what I WOULD mind is if it turns into something pretty much the same as the other competitions, without encouraging people to try out stuff, since that's the point. But as long as you keep with the idea, I'm cool with you taking over and running it. =] |

I think we should only keep one of those, and keep that creative, and run that regularly. |

I do think it's substantially different to the image creativity comp to be run in parallel to it. I just hate seeing it die. |

but of course, that competition is rather dead and boring now.
It'd be great to get some more creativity into this section of the message board.
I'm tired of seeing the same thing over and over again,
so I think it would be awesome to keep this thread up and going.
I just really don't want to see it become just like the other competitions.
So we should definitely try this out.

Experiment Competition #3
Liquify/Warp/Smudge
So...basically, take whatever picture you have and do whatever you want with it, just have liquify/warp/smudge as the main theme. And make it look as creative as you can. The point of this competition is to experiment, needless to say XD
It doesn't matter whether you're a photoshop veteran or n00b, just please have a go! Every one of you are makes a competition possible, so let's try and get this back up in da hood.
Rules
-Do not share your entry with anyone else before the awards have been given.
-Only one entry per contest
-Keep the size sensible.
-Any effects can be used on your entries.
-PM your entry to me by Friday, 20th of June. Hope you guys don't mind not submitting using tinypic.com; imageshack or anything else would be good. (My school blocks tinypic, sorry  and I'm in a boarding school so it's pretty much permanantly blocked for me.)
I might change the due day to something else for later on, so that not all contests have the same deadline. But for this contest it's definitely next Friday, well as long as we have enough entries. xD
